Halo Information Systems becomes Drobo Authorized Reseller. Why Drobo? “We have been in the industry for a long time and keep up with current offerings for clients”, President Tony Schwartz responded. “This product line is very dynamic and robust in the way it handles storage. It is self-configuring and self-healing, making it easy to deploy. At the same time, it is able to address drives that are not the same size, automatically. The price point is also very attactive”, Tony concluded.

FleetGeek LLC is now doing business as Halo Information Systems. So, why the name change? When we opened our doors eight years ago, it wasn’t as popular then to have the word “geek” in a company name. As the years have gone by, many companies have cropped up with “geek” in their name. Our primary niche is in the SMB market and we found that the “geek” word had a very large draw to residential business. As we have developed and grown over the years, we felt that a name change was in order to reflect more of who we had become. Since our flagship service platform is called Guardian Angel, Halo was decided upon. So, Halo Information Systems as the full name was determined to provide a better picture of who we are and where are concentration of services lies.
